The specifications and designs of this cupro-nickel 25-New pence coin commemorating Her Majesty's Silver Jubilee were determined by Royal Proclamation on December 17, 1976. The designs, by Arnold Machin, show the Queen in Her uniform as Colonel-in-Chief of the Grenadier Guards; the reverse features the Ampulla and Anointing Spoon that were used in the coronation ceremony.
